Excellent location. Right smack in the middle of the Riverwalk and just next to the Alamo. Lovely boutique hotel converted from an old warehouse with lots of old world charm and personal touches you'd never get from a big chain hotel. Nice that they provide breakfast and tea time munchies.
Fantastic staff, fantastic building, fantastic location!
Parking is a little bit of a hassle, but worth it for the location.
Location, bed, shower n cookies!!!
Great staff, nice rooms, good value, super location
Outside a bit noisy due to crowds
Friendly and helpful staff. Great location allowing you to walk to many places.
The mattress was way too soft and arrangements for parking are sketchy.
Very unique hotel - it didn't feel like I was staying in a standard hotel.
Baggage dropoff was very difficult. Part of our site had s very odd/musty smell. "Cookies was 3" only lasted about 3 minutes before they ran out, kind of disappointing after a hectic check-in. The outside road noise made it almost impossible to sleep! I had a fan, noise machine and pillow on my head.
2nd time we've stayed and won't stay elsewhere when we visit SATX! Staff is excellent. Thanks, Raymond for your wonderful recommendations for dining.
There is nothing to dislike!
Had a nice rustic feel to it, overlooked river in perfect position. Our 2 rooms had a common room which was incredible for us to hang out at after sightseeing all day long. It was an awesome experience. The Staff had a natural way for making you feel at home and were extremely accommodating.
There was nothing we did not like about this place.
Location is great and the staff very helpful and friendly. The hotel is unique as it is converted from an old warehouse. There was always coffee available in the day and the homemade cookies were very good. The rooms were spacious as were the bathrooms.
The air conditioning is not centralised and so the units in the room can be a little noisy.
The all atmosphere
We enjoyed the very personable atmosphere. Mira and Raymond in particular made us feel special. We can't remember an experience like that before. We'll be back.
Close to everything. We could see the Riverwalk from our room. Very nice Gentleman on duty that night gave us a free coupon to Howl at the Moon (avoided cover), a dueling piano bar that we loved just steps away. We checked out at 11:00 AM next day and went out to have a nice lunch. Our plane was leaving at 4:15 so owner kept our bags till we returned. She had called a cab, at our request, to be there at 2:30. We returned at 2:20 and had time to get our bags to curbside for the 2:30 pick up.Loved this Boutique Hotel, a real Jewel. Totally charming.
The wine and cookies were a nice touch. Keeping the old leather furniture made it feel like you stepped back in time.
The furniture and the style of the hotel is fantastic. Great value for money
